A project groups related trees and defines the clans available to them.
Stored locally only. Attached to exports so shared trees carry your credit.
Your own gender and sexuality flags, drawn as equal horizontal stripes (top→bottom). Available in every project; project exports carry the flags their cats actually use.
Pull your ClanGen game straight into WC Lineage: the first sync imports every clan in your saves as its own linked project; every sync after that brings over what changed in your game (new kits, deaths, ranks, moons, portraits). Your own work stays yours: hand-written text is only supplemented, your relationship fixes are kept, and every sync can be undone.
Sync opens a folder chooser: pick your ClanGen saves folder (in ClanGen:
Settings → Open Data Directory). On the first run the chooser won't know where ClanGen lives;
copy this path and paste it into the chooser's folder-name box, and
after that it reopens where you left it:
%LocalAppData%\ClanGen\ClanGen\saves
Your browser may word the chooser as "uploading", but nothing leaves your computer.
For in-game portraits, load your ClanGen install's sprites folder once; it is remembered from then on.
